LH Ovulation home test is a quick test strip used to detect the so-called LH peak, i.e. a sudden jump in the concentration of luteinizing hormone in a woman’s urine preceding ovulation.
The LH peak allows you to determine the best moment for fertilization in the monthly cycle.
LH The test is sensitive and allows the detection of the LH hormone in urine with a concentration of at least 30 mIU/ml.
How does the home LH ovulation test work?
The Domowe Laboratorium LH strip test uses the phenomenon of a sudden increase in the level of the LH hormone in a woman’s urine, which occurs during ovulation.
Test strips allow you to determine the most fertile days in the monthly cycle at home.
Performing the LH Test is simple. It involves immersing the test strip in urine and reading the result, which appears in the form of colored stripes.
If you receive a positive result, ovulation will most likely occur within 24-36 hours.
Thus, the optimal time in the menstrual cycle to try for a child is determined .
The package contains 5 single-use test strips.
Application
Determining fertile days in the menstrual cycle by determining the increase in the level of LH hormone in a woman’s urine.
The test is recommended if you are trying to get pregnant.
How to use
Collect a fresh urine sample in the test container provided with the test kit.
Immerse the test strip in the container with urine.
Place the test strip on a flat surface.
Read the result after 5 minutes, preferably as quickly as possible (do not interpret the test result after 8 minutes).
When trying to conceive, it is recommended to test twice a day (morning and evening) to more effectively and accurately detect the time of ovulation.
Interpretation of the LH ovulation test Home Laboratory
Result considered positive:
two distinct bands in both the test zone T and the control zone C (usually the intensity of the T band will be the same or stronger than the color intensity of the C band),
means that ovulation will most likely occur within the next 24-36 hours.
Result considered negative:
the appearance of the control strip C, while the test strip T is much less visible than the control strip C or is not visible at all,
this means that there is no increase in LH and another test is necessary the next day.
Invalid result:
no band will appear or only the T test strip will appear.
in such a situation, the test should be repeated using a new test and following the rules contained in the product manual.
Product features
fast (result in 5 minutes),
sensitive (detects luteinizing hormone (LH) at a concentration of 30 mIU/ml and more).
Important tips
It is not recommended to perform the test with morning urine, which is concentrated and may give a false positive result.
You should not drink any fluids 2 hours before the test.
LH The test should always be performed at the same time and its results recorded, which will allow you to obtain a “calendar of fertile days” and make trying for a child easier.
A negative result does not mean that it is impossible to get pregnant and cannot be considered a method of protection against conception.
The use of oral hormonal contraception , breastfeeding and pregnancy may affect the results of the ovulation test.
It is recommended to make important medical decisions after consulting your doctor.
The test components remaining after the test can be disposed of in household waste.
